The Rescue Service is looking for a trainer for our preventive unit for external training

The preventive unit is responsible for external training, supervision according to LSO, permits and supervision according to LBE, advice, and participation in the community planning process.

You are engaged and pedagogical and want to work with educating and informing employees within the municipality and the municipal companies' operations as well as other stakeholders. By spreading knowledge about how accidents can be prevented, the likelihood of serious incidents occurring in workplaces, homes, and public environments is reduced.

By spreading knowledge about accident prevention, you become an important piece of the puzzle in the work for a safer society.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct training and information sessions on fire protection, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and other safety areas
• Adapt training to the customer's needs
• Provide advice and information to the public
• Be an ambassador for the rescue service's preventive work
• Participate in development work and projects

We are looking for someone who

• Has good pedagogical skills and enjoys speaking in front of groups.
• Is structured, service-oriented, and has an easy time creating good relationships.
• Has education in fire and rescue, e.g., Protection against accidents, GriB courses, or similar relevant education.
• Has experience in training or safety work (meritorious but not required).
• Can express themselves well in speech and writing in the Swedish language.
• Language skills beyond Swedish are meritorious.
• Has a driver's license with B category

The Municipal Management Administration operates under the municipal board and is responsible for leading, coordinating, supporting, and following up on the overall municipal operations.

In connection with the interview, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Approved documents are Passport, International ID card, Driver's license + personal certificate from the tax authority, or other ID documents that strengthen citizenship.

We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sámi varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.
